Mrs. Kristine Laskowski
Kinder Teacher
Callie: What is your favorite thing about your career?
Mrs. Laskowski: I love that I am able to provide children with the foundational skills necessary for learning to read.
Callie: What is your favorite food?
Mrs. Laskowski: Perry's: Filet Perry with whipped potatoes, steamed asparagus and creamed spinach! YUM! (Now my mouth is watering!)
Callie: What's your favorite hobby and/or side project?
Mrs. Laskowski: I love anything having to do with DIY. I'm a maker! I love to paint old furniture, decorate and organize my home, and do anything else crafty. I used to have a wooden sign business on Etsy called Milk+Honey Signs when I was a stay-at-home mama. I miss it!
Callie: What is your favorite memory from elementary school?
Mrs. Laskowski: I remember getting to have a picnic for good grades and perfect attendance in 3rd grade at Lamkin Elementary. I got to take my lavender-colored jambox to school and walked around with it on my shoulder playing Prince's "You Got the Look". I thought I was so cool. Ha!
Callie: Oceans or mountains? Why?
Mrs. Laskowski: Definitely oceans! My favorite thing to do is float on my back in a crystal clear ocean; realizing how small I really am in this great big world!
Callie: If you had to sing karaoke right now, what song would you pick?
Mrs. Laskowski: Well, I just hosted my parent's 50th anniversary party and we did Karaoke! I sang Simple Mind's "Don't You (Forget About Me)" with my brother and one of my daughters! We love the 80s!
Callie: If your car had vanity plates, what would they say?
Mrs. Laskowski: WHOOP22!
