Creekview room parents host three classroom parties each school year for our students—a December Holiday party, a Valentine's Activity, and an End of Year party. September is Hunger Action Month, a national campaign that aims to raise awareness of food insecurity that exists in the U.S. Approximately 24% of children in Harris County are food insecure.

Over the next two weeks we are collecting plastic jars of peanut butter to benefit Keep Us Fed, an organization working to alleviate hunger and reduce food waste by rescuing and redistributing excess nutritional food.

Let's show our Creekview students that we can make a difference together. The winning class with themost pounds of peanut butter (in plastic jars, please) wins a free lunch from Cheesecake Factory!

• Bikers/Walkers: Please do not drop or pickup your student(s) on the side of the road. There are new safety street signs posted as a reminder. 
• Bikers: Student(s) do not qualify as being a biker for dismissal if their wheels are being passed to them from over the school fence in the afternoon.
• No More Rainy Day Dismissal: The school will follow each child's normal dismissal mode every day, regardless of weather. In the event of inclement weather and your child is a walker or biker, you may submit a change of transportation by 3:30pm and the school will be sure your child makes it to the car or bus rider line.
